I personally do not think they are "cell" anymore because they seem to come in bigger sizes as the years goes by. From 3" screen, up to 4", then 5", we got go phablets and then tablets. Well back to the matter, our mobile phones have become a very vital part of life, and this is because communication is a vital access to send and receive information.
  To make it all better, our mobile device comes with the complete package, which includes the ability to carry out basic functions like calls, text, surf the internet, etc. Extended functions such as multimedia, Bluetooth, infrared(oudated), Wi-Fi and other file transfer media, also extra accessories like World clock, alarm, timer, calender, calculator, flashlight and not to forget...... Camera!!!!. You can for sure choose to call a combination of all those into a single device a "smart phone" and they justeep getting smarter and smarter!


  These days our phones do just more than texting, calls and mails.Below are 10 super amazing things our smartphones could do that we might just not be aware of.

 1. Remotely lock, unlock, alarm and even start your car.

2. Voice search with the screen off.
 Not  knows this (and not everyone has the ability to enable it) but some Android smartphosmartphones voice search with the “OK Google” hotword even when the screen is off. Many phones have the ability to search from any screen when the screen is on, but only a few phones with a dedicated listening core can search even when the display is inactive.

To find if your phone can do this, go to Google settings > Search and Now > Voice > OK Google Detection > Always on and flip the switch. Remember you'll need to train Google to recognize your voice first (the options are on the same screen). Unsupported phones will say From any screen rather than Always on.

 Tired of pinching yourself on tape measures? Interested in measuring really tall things? There are several apps that can measure practically anything for you through your its camera lens!

  
 8. Check whether your remote's batteries are dead when it stops working.
  Your smartphone's camera is indeed sensitive to IR radiation, and if you want to try it for yourself, just use a common IR remote control.

  The infrared beam emitted when a button is pressed will show as white or purple light in the viewfinder of your camera app. You can use this trick to check if a remote control's batteries are dead when it stops working.
